Mobile County Man Charged With 20 Counts of Possessing Child Pornography

MOBILE, Ala. Authorities in Mobile County have made an arrest in the investigation of a person suspected of receiving child pornography.

John Seibert Jr., 65, was arrested by Mobile County sheriff’s deputies and booked into Mobile County Metro Jail Friday just before 9 a.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, Seibert was charged with 20 counts of possessing child pornography.

The sheriff’s office said that the arrest was a result of a tip and an investigation.

Seibert is being held at the Mobile County Metro Jail.
