Woman Arrested After Intentionally Striking Man With a Vehicle

MOBILE, AL. Police responded to a disturbance where it was reported that a man had been struck by a vehicle and injured.
On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., multiple officers responded to the 1200 block of Bernice Hudson Drive in reference to what was classified as a domestic incident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a female subject had intentionally struck a known male victim with a vehicle.
Mobile Fire-Rescue responded and the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment
Upon further investigation, officers discovered that two female subjects and the male victim were involved in an argument that began as a physical altercation inside of a home.
Before officers arrived, one of the subjects, Maleka Jefferson, 33, left the area, but was detained a short time later.
Jefferson, 48, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
