Two Dead and Three injured in I-10 Crash

A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 has claimed the life of a Louisianna woman and injured several others.

At approximately 5:47 a.m. Thursday, March 20, Danielle R. Harry, 46, was fatally injured when the 2017 Honda Civic that she was sitting in was struck by the 2015 Toyota Tacoma driven by Michael T. McBride, 20, of Grand Bay.

After being struck by the Toyota, the Honda left the roadway and struck an unoccupied 2012 Chevrolet Impala.
The driver of the Honda which was stationary in the roadway as a result of being involved in a previous crash, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Hagel K. Sandolph, 26, of Vacherie, La., who was a passenger in the Honda, was injured and transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile for treatment. A 1-year-old and a 2-year-old, who were also passengers in the Honda, were injured and transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

According to ALEA, the crash occurred on Interstate 10 near the 40 -mile marker, approximately three miles west of Loxley, in Baldwin County.
