New Subdivision Begins Construction in Silverhill

SILVERHILL, Ala. A new subdivision that was approved earlier this year has begun selling lots.

The new planned community with 260 lots, located on County Road 48 just south of Silverhill, is called Elizabeth Gardens.

The infrastructure for the community, including water and utilities, has been completed along with the necessary other prep work, and developer D. R. Horton is about to begin home construction there.

Water piping to the development was installed by the developer, and initially, the water was to be supplied by Fairhope Utilities, but was changed later to the Town of Silverhill instead, where a new storage tank and well are being installed now.
