MOBILE Ala. Multiple people were shot early Sunday morning while sitting in a vehicle police are reporting.

Police were dispatched to the area of Springhill Avenue and Catherine Street at around 2:15 a.m. regarding a shooting and when officers arrived at the scene, they found that four people were shot during a drive-by shooting.

Police say during their investigation that a vehicle drove up and began firing into the vehicle.

This is an ongoing investigation.
