Driver Arrested After Leading ALEA Trooper on High-Speed Pursuit

MOBILE AL. An ALEA trooper patrolling west Mobile on Monday evening, July 14, 2025, attempted to stop a speeding red Chevrolet Camero on Airline Terminal Road near the airport, but the driver refused to stop and instead, he accelerated and speed away from the trooper.

The driver then engaged the trooper in a pursuit at around 6:13 p.m. and sped down Airport Blvd. to Grelot Road near Leroy Stevens Road.
Additional officers and troopers responded to assist in the pursuit.

The pursuit was brought to a halt within minutes, and the driver was taken into custody.

He was taken to the Mobile Metro Jail and charged with Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer.
