Grand Bay Man Arrested On Human Trafficking, Child Pornography Charges

A Grand Bay man has been arrested after police conducted a raid on his house in the early morning hours of April 2nd, 2025 on on Fernland Road in Grand Bay.

Police said that 34-year-old Keigh Hodges is facing multiple child pornography charges and a human trafficking charge.

According to investigators, the Mobile District Attorney’s Office has charged Hodges with:

5 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material

5 counts of production of child sexual abuse material

Distributing child sexual abuse material

First-degree human trafficking

Hodges has a bond hearing scheduled for April 4.

According to a new Alabama law that went into effect last October, if someone is convicted of first-degree human trafficking, they will face a mandatory life sentence if the victim is a minor.

According to the National Center for Victims of Crime, 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys is a victim of child sexual abuse.

Police have not released any further details.
