Bay Minette Man Dies in Crash near Stapleton
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala
An early morning two-vehicle accident on Thursday has left one man dead and another person injured.
According to ALEA, the crash occurred at approximately 5:04 a.m. Thursday, November 14th claimed the life of a Bay Minette man.
Robert M. Thompson, 46, was fatally injured when the 2001 Ford Explorer he was driving struck an unoccupied 2001 Mack tractor-trailer that was disabled and in the roadway.
Thompson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 31 near the 11-mile marker, approximately one mile north of Stapleton, in Baldwin County.
