Atmore Police Captain Corbitt Has Died Suddenly

It is with extreme sadness that the Atmore Police Department announces the passing of Captain Christopher J Corbitt, 45.
Captain Corbitt began his law enforcement career in 2004 with the Alabama Department of Corrections, where he served honorably for 12 years.
In 206, he joined the Atmore Police Department, where he remained a dedicated and respected member of the agency until his passing.
Captain Corbitt was a committed husband, father, and public servant.
His loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, and those who served alongside him.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
