Officers in Fairhope conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle over the weekend that resulted in the arrest of the driver.

Police said that during the stop that officers discovered that the driver, identified as Alante Javier Harris, 22, had several outstanding arrest warrants.

During the arrest process, officers searched the vehicle and found that the driver had a stolen semi-automatic rifle and 4.7 ounces of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Harris faces charges including Receiving Stolen Property in the 2nd degree, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Obstruction of Justice for providing a false identity, along with possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Harris was booked into the Fairhope jail.
