Woman Leads ALEA Trooper on Pursuit Down I-10

BALDWIN COUNTY Ala. An Alabama State Trooper was patrolling Interstate 10 on Sunday night, July 6th, 2025, at around 7:35 p.m., when the trooper noticed a driver committing a traffic infraction and attempted to pull the female driver over.

However, the driver, later identified as Leen Ayman Ayyad, 19, refused to stop and comply with law enforcement and fled police, and continued to drive on I-10 East and disobeyed all attempts of the trooper to stop.

Additional law enforcement responded to assist the trooper, and the vehicle was finally stopped further down Interstate 10, where Ayyad was arrested and several other passengers temporarily detained.

ALEA has charged Ayyad with Attempting to Elude Police and Obstructing Police for attempting to resist arrest.
She is currently being held at the Baldwin County Detention Center.
