Woman Fatally Shoots Herself on Foley Street

FOLEY Ala.
An unidentified woman has fatally shot herself in Foley Friday morning.
The Foley Fire Department was first called to the area of Hickory and Covenant Drive at around 10:55 a.m. for a possible heart attack.
When Foley firefighters arrived they found that the woman had been shot and Foley police have now confirmed that a handgun was nearby.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital but she succumbed to her injuries.
The Foley Police confirmed to us that it appears that the woman took her own life.
