Woman Arrested After Confrontation With ALEA Trooper

A woman is under arrest after being involved in a confrontation Wednesday with an ALEA trooper.

The incident occurred on Interstate 65 in Mobile near the Cottage Hill overpass.

The woman, identified as Adrian M Couture, refused lawful orders and continued to walk away from the trooper on the Interstate.

Additional state troopers and Mobile police arrived and took the woman into custody.

Couture was charged with disorderly conduct and booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail.
