Fort Morgan is asking for your help to keep the coastline clean and they’re holding an event that you can be involved in.

This is a beautiful area that attracts tourists and locals alike and right now it needs a little sprucing up.

Volunteers for the annual Fort Morgan Cleanup on Saturday, April 12 is asked to report to
the Fort Morgan Fire Department Station No. 2, located at 5180 Fort Morgan Road.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon,

The cleanup is a collaborative effort led by the Fort Morgan Civic Association, Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County, Fort Morgan State Historic Site, Fort Morgan Fire Rescue, Eco Clean Marine, and the Alabama Coastal Foundation.

Participants will help remove litter and debris from the area, contributing to the preservation of Fort Morgan’s natural beauty and protecting local wildlife. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
