Two Persons Charged With Vehicle Burglary

MOBILE Ala. City police officers were dispatched on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m. to a business at 3061 Dauphin Street (BLP Paints).
Police had been notified of a burglary at the business.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that two subjects had unlawfully entered a company vehicle and damaged the steering column in an effort to steal it.
It was also discovered that the vehicle had been left unlocked.
Police were able to identify two people who had been involved and located them a short time later in the 150 block of E. I-65 Service Road.
Mobile police officers arrested Joshua Dowden, 46, and Sharla Daire-Brady, 43, were arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Both have been charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering Into a Motor Vehicle which is a Class C Felony.
