Two Persons Arrested After Beating Walmart Customer With a Cane

An incident at a Mobile store land two people in jail after being involved in an assault of another person.

The incident happened around 6:55 p.m. Saturday at the Walmart Supercenter at 5245 Rangeline Road and left one person injured.

According to the Mobile Police Department, Alisa Olinger, 36, of Clarksville Ark., and Robert Poole, 41, assaulted a man by striking him in the head with a walking cane and being punched with a closed fist.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation, police said.

Olinger and Poole are currently homeless according to the police.

Both are charged with one count each of second-degree assault and have been given court dates scheduled for Friday, jail records show.
