The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has been the lead on the investigation of a recent homicide in Pritchard and now an arrest has been made.
Investigators said that they have taken two men into custody and charged with the murder that occurred on Helen Street just after midnight on Thursday. Both Pritchard police and the sheriff’s office responded and found a man, later identified as James Wright, lying face down in a front yard with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, the sheriff’s office said.
Investigators determined that there had been an argument between some men shooting dice and that gunfire rang out during the argument.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office have charged Jadedeon Blount, 21, and Kenneth Padgett, 21 with homicide in this shooting.
