Teen Charged With Murder in Fatal Mobile County Collision

A November head-on collision that killed one person in Mobile County, now has a driver charged with murder.
The teen driver, who has not been publicly identified, was originally charged with manslaughter, but the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that the charge was upgraded.

The 17-year-old Wilmer boy is accused of driving more than 100 mph when the fatal crash happened.

According to ALEA, he collided head-on with another driver on Alabama 217 near mile marker 13 killing Nolan McDavid.

Police also said that the teen was under the influence and had a blood-alcohol content of .111.
