Tanger Outlet Plans to Redevelop Parts of Property

FOLEY, Ala. A request has been made to local officials in Foley that would change the face of an iconic shopping center.
According to recent filings, the Tanger Outlets in Foley is seeking a site plan approval to redevelop some of its existing shopping center at 2601 S. McKenzie St., in Foley, according to city planners.
The request will allow for new uses at the center, including new restaurants.
The Foley center is one of Tanger’s largest centers in the area, with more than 570,000 square feet of leasable retail space.
At this time, the plans are being reviewed, and if approved, more information will be released and will give us a better understanding of the project and what areas will be redeveloped.
