Short Police Pursuit Ends With Driver Facing Multiple Charges

Mobile police officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of Interstate 10 and Broad Street on Thursday, November 14th.
Officers reported that the vehicle failed to yield to the police vehicle and a short pursuit occurred.
The driver, identified as Justin Carson, 30, stopped the vehicle in the area of Canal Street and Water Street and was taken into custody.
Police then discovered that the driver had an active warrant for burglary.
Carson was arrested for Eluding, Burglary, Possession of Marijuana, Theft of Property and transported to Metro Jail.
