This morning, we now know which schools have made the decision to keep schools closed during the cold and possibly snowy days ahead.
Other schools may make the same decision sometime today.
ALABAMA SCHOOL CLOSINGS
All Catholic Schools in the Mobile Archdiocese will be closed Tuesday, and Wednesday
BALDWIN COUNTY
All schools are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday
Gulf Shores city schools are only closed on Tuesday
Central Christian School in Robertsdale closed through Wednesday
Fairhope Municipal Court cancelled for Wednesday Jan 22, new dates to be sent by mail.
CLARK COUNTY
Clarke County Schools are closed Tuesday and Wednesday
Clarke Prep School is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY ALABAMA
Schools are closed Tuesday and Wednesday
MOBILE COUNTY
Mobile Public Schools are closed on Tuesday. A decision will be made soon whether to keep schools closed on Wednesday.
Mobile City offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, except for essential personnel.
Mobile City Council meetings have been canceled, and offices will be closed Tuesday.
Mobile County Commission Offices & Parks will be closed on Tuesday.
Shelton Academy will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
MONROE COUNTY
Monroe County schools and government offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
CITY of PRITCHARD
Prichard City offices are closed on Tuesday.
CITY of SARALAND
Saraland City Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Miss SMS Pageant originally scheduled for this Thursday evening has been moved to Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Thomasville city schools are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
St. Paul’s Episcopal close Tuesday
UMS Wright closed Tuesday
COLLEGES and UNIVERSITIES
University of South Alabama will be closed on Tuesday. The Dining Hall will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, but all other campus dining options will be closed.
Bishop State Community College will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coastal Alabama Community College will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
MISSISSIPPI CLOSURES
George County schools are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
FLORIDA CLOSURES
Escambia County schools closed Tuesday
