Police Arrest Two People Inside Stolen Vehicle

On Thursday, October 3rd, police officers were on routine patrol of the city when they spotted a vehicle known to have been stolen.
As the vehicle and officers approached Dauphin Island Parkway and Brill Road, officers initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle.
Police said the persons inside, identified as Akeem Kinn, 32, and Frank Nichols, Jr., 37, were taken into custody and arrested.
The vehicle was recovered and both occupants were transported to the Metro Jail.
Both persons arrested have been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
