Person Wanted in Mobile Shooting Surrenders to Police

The Mobile Police Department has been investigating a shooting that had occurred Monday, March 3, 2025, at approximately 1:11 a.m.
At that time, officers responded to 911 calls that a shooting had happened around E. I-65 Service Road and Main Street.
When officers arrived, they found that someone had fired shots from a vehicle toward another vehicle. No one was injured.
The investigation determined that both the shooter and the occupant of the other vehicle knew each other.
Thursday, March 6, 2025, the suspected shooter identified as Sanchez Martin, 34 turned himself in to police and has been charged with Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle.
