Mobile Man Arrested After Shooting Man During Argument

An argument of some sort, let a man with a gunshot wound and another man locked up in the Mobile Metro Jail.
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, at approximately 11:41 p.m., officers responded to the area of Cherokee Street and Bankhead Street in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers continued their investigation and discovered a male subject shot the victim during an argument.
Police identified the shooter as Clinton James, 48.
James was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
James has been charged with Assault 1st Degree.
