Mobile County Home Destroyed in Fire

MOBILE COUNTY Ala.

A home was destroyed by fire on Tuesday in a rural part of Mobile County.

The Fowl River fire department along with the Theodore Dawes Fire Rescue and St.Elmo-Irvington Fire Department  were dispatched to the 11000 block of Anne Lane for a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, heavy fire was showing from a manufactured home.
The fire department also reported that a camper was burning, and heavy fire was showing.

Firefighters were able to make entry into the home and performed an interior attack to extinguish the fire.

Water supply in rural areas is often a problem for firefighters.

There was one civilian injured on scene and was transported by Mobile County EMS to an area hospital. That person has not been identified.

The cause of the fire was not identified.
