Large Tractor Trailer Fire Shuts Down I-10 in Baldwin County

ROSINTON Ala. A midnight call for help was received by the Baldwin County 911 Communications Center reporting that a big rig was on fire on Interstate 10.
The tractor-trailer near Mile Marker 65 on the Eastbound side caught fire and the occupants were able to escape before the truck began to catch fire further.
Several lanes of Interstate 10 were shut down as multiple fire departments arrived to put out the fire.
There were also reports of diesel leaking from the truck which may have helped to fuel the fire.
ALEA also responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
