Mobile Police Make Quick Arrest in Credit Card Fraud

The Mobile Police Department made a quick arrest recently after receiving a 911 call that a man was using a stolen credit card at an area gas station.
Police were dispatched on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at approximately 10:04 p.m. to a gas station located at 1391 Schillinger Road for a complaint of someone using a possible stolen credit card.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male subject was in possession of a credit card and that the subject, identified as Killian Hay, 31, had stolen a wallet at the Planet Fitness located at 900B Schillinger Road and that he had used a credit card from the theft and made a purchase at the gas station.
Hay faces charges of:
Theft of Property-Class D Felony
Credit Card Possession-Fraudulent Use
Hay was transported to Metro Jail where he is currently being held.
