“Operation Heatwave” Nets Seven Child Sex Predators

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. A targeted investigation involving multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies called “Operation Heatwave” has taken seven men off the streets charged with being online predators.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office ICAC and Special Operations Unit, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, launched “Operation Heatwave” on June 2 through June 5, 2025.

The operation was aimed at arresting child predators in order to keep our children safe during the summer break. This time of year, Kids have less supervision and more access to the internet and can become victims of these online predators.

Through the course of the operation, MCSO detectives were able to arrest (7) individuals for a total of 31 felony charges. Below is a list of those arrested:

 

ISSA MTAMBWE – Unlawful Possession of child Pornography

KENDALL ANDREWS – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography

FORREST BROWN – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography

JACOB LEE – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography

ANDREW ROCKHOLD – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography

CLAYTON BRADFORD – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography/Unlawful dissemination of Child Pornography

JARED FABLES – Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography/Unlawful dissemination of Child Pornography. Jared Fables is currently incarcerated in Mississippi.

All of these charges are felonies that if found guilty could land each of these people in prison for ten years or more.
