Fowl River Fire Leaves Four People Homeless

A fire ripped through a home in the Fowl River community Friday leaving the home with substantial damage and four people homeless.
Several fire departments responded to the fire which is just off Lundy Lane and Bellingrath Road and found that the structure was engulfed in flames just after 1 a.m. Friday morning.
According to the fire department, heavy fire was showing upon arrival, and it took several hours to extinguish the blaze.
All occupants were able to escape safely.
The American Red Cross area disaster unit responded to the fire to assist the residents.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
