Elberta Fire Brought Under Control by Several Fire Departments

A fire in Elberta on Thursday destroyed a shed, caught the back door of a house on fire, and started a brush fire just after 5 p.m.
While on the way to the fire at 23860 Eckman Road, firefighters reported heavy smoke showing from the area before arriving at the address.
Firefighters from Elberta, Lillian, Summerdale, and Perdido Beach were sent to the home to bring the fire under control, and at some point, an additional brush truck was dispatched because a wooded area nearby caught fire.
Firefighters were able to extinguish all areas on fire within an hour.
There were no injuries reported.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown,
