Domestic Altercation Leads to Shooting Arrest

MOBILE Ala. A husband and wife having an altercation ended with one being shot and the other landing in the metro jail.
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., police were called to 2287 Schillinger Road (Anne Place Apartments).
According to the dispatch, a shooting had occurred at the address and one person was injured.
The Mobile Fire Rescue also responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim was struck by gunfire.
He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered that the victim and his wife were involved in an argument when the wife got a gun and shot her husband.
Police took Angelica Smith, 28, into custody and she was booked into the Metro Jail.
