Claborn Maurice Tucker has been charged with DUI and Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. An ALEA trooper patrolling Interstate 65 Friday afternoon observed a vehicle driving recklessly and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

The Chevrolet Silverado pickup was swerving in and out of lanes, speeding up and slowing down but refused to stop for the trooper.
The vehicle pursuit which began at around 4:48 p.m., continued to head northbound near the Creola exit where additional law enforcement from the sheriff’s office and city police joined the pursuit.

During the pursuit, the driver was also involved in a wreck.

The driver, who appeared to be driving under the influence, according to a trooper, was brought to a halt by law enforcement in the median of I-65 and taken into custody.

Claborn Maurice Tucker has been charged with DUI and Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement and booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail.
