Bubba’s Seafood House Closes Permanently

A favorite local seafood restaurant in Orange Beach has decided to shut their doors for a final time.

Bubba’s Seafood House, which first opened in 1997, has closed its doors after nearly three decades of serving seafood in Orange Beach.

For many, it was their favorite go to family seafood restaurant for years.

The restaurant posted a short statement to social media on April 2.

“To all our valued guests, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Bubba’s Seafood House in Orange Beach, AL, effective April 1, 2025. We thank you for your many years of support and delicious memories! Bubba sez ‘Thank you & farewell!’”

The restaurant said it will soon share more details about selling off decor, retail items, and restaurant equipment.

Upon seeing the social media post, many responded thanking the owners and wishing them well while others posted about fond memories made there.

Visitors who have traveled to Orange Beach also left their comments.
