Body Found in Mobile Bay May Be Suicide Victim

HOLLINGER’S ISLAND, Ala.

Residents along Bay Road spotted a body along the banks of Mobile Bay and called the police.

Officers responded to the 7400 block of Bay Road around 3:08 p.m. after a homeowner called 911.

The body was that of a man who had been reported as missing from the Nashville area, but police have not released his name.

Police said they are investigating the death as a possible suicide.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death according to police.
