BAY MINETTE Ala. Police in Bay Minette have arrested a woman in connection to a deadly house party where the shooter is still on the run.

Martina Johnson, 35, is charged with holding an illegal house party and with obstructing governmental operations.

On May 25, Bay Minette police responded to a home on Old Daphne Road after shots were fired and found one man lying in the yard with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later identified as Dyrontae Booker and succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators say a large party was taking place when a man pulled out a gun and started shooting and police identified the shooter as Dacareus Keywon Mallory Andrews, who remains at large.

Bay Minette Police Chief Al Tolbert says Johnson is the tenant renting the house where the birthday party took place.

Chief Tolbert says Johnson was arrested after violating several codes under the illegal house party statute including loud music, underage drinking, alcohol consumption in the presence of minors, and vehicles blocking public access to roadways.

Tolbert also says Johnson interfered with officers trying to clear the scene.

Police statewide and beyond are searching for Andrews who is considered to be armed and dangerous.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, you’re encouraged to call the Bay Minette Police Department at 251-580-2559 or email tips@ci.bay-minette.al.us. You can remain anonymous.
