Investigators with the Mobile Police Homicide Unit have been investigating the death of a person that occurred on Wiley Street last week and have now made two arrests in the case.

According to the Mobile Police, Cedric Wooten, 22, and Reco McCants, 25, have each been charged with murder in the death of Tykendrick Barnett, according to police.

Both have been booked into the Mobile Metro Jail.

Jail records show they are set to have a bond hearing on Friday, Feb 14.

Police did not release a motive for the killing.
