Shots Fired Into Unoccupied House Leads to Arrest

MOBILE, Ala.
Shots were heard and 911 was called, sending police officers to the area of 2500 block of Riverside Drive.
Police arrived in the area at about 7:57 a.m., and officers spotted two men who matched the description that had been given to them by the dispatcher. They were standing in a yard across from the unoccupied residence
Officers cautiously approached the men and discovered a firearm where one of them was sitting.
The two suspects were detained and one of them voluntarily admitted to shooting into the residence, according to police.
William Marx, 61, and Jason Raybon, 50, were arrested and charged with shooting into an unoccupied building and reckless endangerment and transported to the metro jail.
A witness also met with the police and showed them pictures of the subjects during the event.
It is unknown why they were shooting into the house or if they lived in the area.
No injuries were reported.
