2 Year Old Shot While in Bed-Mobile Sheriff’s Office Investigaitng

PRITCHARD Ala. On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 1:02 am, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Prichard Police Department that a shooting occurred at the 3400 block of St. Stephens Road.
Ritchard police and fire departments, along with an ambulance, had responded to a child being shot call.
Prior to the arrival of MCSO at the scene, a two-year-old victim was transported to a local Hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.
According to an investigation, the two-year-old was in bed, alongside the parents in their room when shots were fired.
MCSO Major Crimes Detectives responded to the hospital to interview the parents as well as other witnesses.
Currently, there have been no arrests and Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is asking if anyone has any information about this crime to please call 251-574-8633.
