Proactive Policing Results in 2 Stolen Vehicles Recovered, 2 Arrests

Proactive policing in Mobile has led to the arrest of two people who were behind the wheel of two different stolen vehicles.
Police patrolling their assigned areas on Saturday, March 29, 2025, conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of Delaware Street and Marine Street at around 12:19 p.m.
During the officer’s investigation, it was determined that the vehicle that they had pulled over had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Toyleann Johnson, 54, was arrested and transported to the Metro Jail.
Later that day, other officers responded to the Beverly Motel located at 4384 Government Boulevard in reference to a stolen vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found a U-Haul rental truck that had been stolen from a business at 4175 Government Street. Police arrested the driver of the vehicle identified as Charles Harrel and transported him to the Metro Jail.
